OUR MISSION

We reject business as usual. We understand that our current industrial society focused on economic growth is causing mass extinction and the collapse of the ecological and social systems on which life depends. We at the Great Turning Team are committed to creating a life-sustaining society devoted to our personal and collective healing and recovery. 

To remain actively hopeful in a world full of suffering, we must develop tools to build personal resiliency, create community with others doing this work, and discover our unique gifts to offer to the world. We believe that many people deeply long to heal themselves and the world. We are here to specifically assist young people along the path of healing and discovery with one-on-one mentoring. At the Great Turning Team, we mobilize people’s energy, attention, creativity, and determination to creatively redesign structures and systems that make up our society.
